Important: We collect minimal data
The Beauty Hive Instagram integration only displays our own business account's public Instagram posts. We do not collect, store, or process personal data from website visitors or Instagram users.
What Data We Collect
Our Instagram integration only accesses:
- Our own Instagram posts - Public images, captions, and engagement metrics from @isssbeenails
- Temporary browser cache - Posts cached in your browser's local storage for 1 hour
We do NOT collect:
- Visitor Instagram login information
- Personal user data from Instagram
- Instagram profiles other than our own
- Any data that requires user authentication
Data Deletion Options
Option 1: Clear Browser Data (Instant)
Since we only store data in your browser's local storage, you can delete it instantly:
For Chrome, Edge, Brave:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
- Select "All time" or "Last hour"
- Check "Cookies and other site data"
- Click "Clear data"
For Firefox:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
- Select "Everything"
- Check "Cookies" and "Site Data"
- Click "Clear Now"
For Safari:
- Go to Safari → Preferences → Privacy
- Click "Manage Website Data"
- Search for our website
- Click "Remove" or "Remove All"
Option 2: Automatic Deletion
Cached Instagram post data is automatically deleted after 1 hour. Simply close your browser and the data will expire.
Option 3: Contact Us
If you have any concerns about data or want to request deletion of specific information, contact us:

Send a direct message on Instagram with:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Description of your concern
- Any specific data you want deleted
Response time: We will respond within 48 hours.
Facebook/Instagram App Data Deletion
If you used our Facebook app for Instagram integration and want to revoke access:
To remove app access from your Instagram account:
- Go to Instagram Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
- Find "The Beauty Hive" or our app name
- Click "Remove"
To remove app access from Facebook:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find our app
- Click "Remove"
Note: This only applies if you are the business owner who connected our app to Instagram. Regular website visitors do not need to do this.
What Happens After Deletion?
- Browser data: Cleared immediately from your device
- Our app access: Revoked immediately when you remove the app from Instagram/Facebook settings
- Public posts: Our public Instagram posts remain on Instagram (controlled by Instagram, not our website)
Important Notes
- ✓ We only display our own business Instagram posts
- ✓ No personal data is stored on our servers
- ✓ Cache expires automatically after 1 hour
- ✓ You can clear browser data at any time
- ✓ Our app doesn't access other Instagram users' data
